Gerber Good Start Grow Stage 3
Allegations: Misleadingly marketing products as nutritionally appropriate for toddlers
January 2018: Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint similarly alleging that the company falsely markets iced tea products as “100% natural” and made “with all natural ingredients” when, according to the complaint, many flavors of the teas contain an unnatural, artificial coloring ingredient. (Martin et al v. Tradewinds Beverage Company, Case No. 16-cv-9249, C. D. CA.)
May 2017: This case was administratively closed because it was consolidated with another case against Tradewinds Beverage Company. (Martin v. Tradewinds Beverage Company, Case No. 16-cv-9249, C. D. CA.) Later in May, a consolidated complaint was filed.
January 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Tradewinds Beverage Company, Sweet Leaf Tea Company, and Nestle Waters North America for allegedly falsely marketing Tradewinds iced tea as “All Natural,” “100% Natural,” “With All Natural Ingredients,” and “Naturally Flavored with All Natural Flavors” when, according to plaintiffs, they contain artificial and synthetic ingredients. (Rhinesmith et al v. Tradewinds Beverage Company, Sweet Leaf Tea Company, Nestle Waters North America, Inc. and Does 1-25, Case No. 17-cv-408, C.D. Cal.)
