January 2017: Another class-action lawsuit was filed against Gerber for allegedly deceptively marketing Good Start, a line of infant formula made with whey-protein concentrate. Specifically, the complaint alleges that Gerber markets the formula as the first and only formula that reduces the risk of infants developing allergies and as endorsed by the FDA for this purpose when such claims are false.
