In June 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. for allegedly falsely advertising Straight Up Tea as “sorta sweet” to send the message that the beverage is low in sugar when, according to plaintiffs, the tea actually contains 22 grams of sugar, which is the second most predominant ingredient in the beverage.
