February 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Whole Foods Market Group for allegedly misleadingly marketing the ingredients in its Organic 365 Honey Graham Crackers. Specifically, the complaint claims that the primary sweetener in the crackers is honey and the primary flour ingredient is whole grain graham flour when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list shows that the primary sweetener is “Organic Cane Sugar” and the crackers contain more “Organic Wheat Flour” than “Organic Whole Wheat Flour.” Plaintiffs also allege that the honey in the crackers is used as a coloring ingredient to make the crackers look like they contain more whole grain graham flour than they actually do.
