November 2013: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Whole Foods Market, Inc. for allegedly misleadingly labeling products – including All Natural Banana Bran Mini Muffins, All Natural Chocolate Chip Soft Baked Cookies, All Natural Gluten Free Apple Pie, and All Natural Gluten Free Chocolate Cupcakes – as “all natural” when they actually contain synthetic ingredients. (Garrison et al v. Whole Foods Market, Inc., Case No. 13-cv-05222, N. D. CA.).
