ConAgra) as the decision could have an impact on this case.
October 2013: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Mars, Inc. for allegedly misbranding its chocolate candy products – including 3 Musketeers Bars, Milky Way Bars, Snickers Bars, Twix Cookie Bars, M&M Chocolate Candies, and Dove Bars – in violation of both California and federal law. Specifically, plaintiffs allege that the labels mislead consumers by, among other things, understating the amount of calories in the product and failing to disclose the high levels of fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium in the products.
