In May 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against ConAgra Brands for allegedly falsely marketing La Choy crispy noodle products as containing “0g Trans Fat” when, according to plaintiffs, the products contain a dangerous amount of partially hydrogenated oil, an artificial trans fat that allegedly causes heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer’s Disease.
