April 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Tristar Products alleging that the company markets its Flex-Able hose as “designed like a fire hose for speed, storage and strength, to last a really long time” when the garden hose is actually prone to leaks. (Winstanley et al v. Tristar Products, Inc. and Does 1-10, Case No. 14-cv-02657, D. NJ.).
