A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Tristar Products in March 2016. Among other things, the complaint claims that the company markets the Flex-Able hose as tough, durable, and long-lasting when, in reality, the hose is prone to leaking. The lawsuit was transferred to federal court in April 2016. (Celmins et al v. Tristar Products, Inc. and Does 1-10, Case No. 16-cv-2068, D. NJ.)
