September 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against ConAgra Foods for allegedly deceptively marketing Chef Boyardee food products, including macaroni & cheese, spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, and fun flavor pasta. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company deceptively conveys the message that the products do not contain synthetic, artificial, and genetically modified ingredients, and labels products as containing “No Preservatives” when they actually contain unnatural, synthetic, artificial, and genetically modified ingredients, including citric acid and preservatives.
