- Filed complaint with FL attorney general
- Objected to class-action settlement
The DSSRC closes an investigation into Jeunesse and issues a case decision finding that the company uses atypical earnings claims about its business opportunity, including the ability to earn $100,000 a month. According to the DSSRC, the company removed several Facebook posts and YouTube videos at issue. The DSSRC closed its investigation and said it would continue to check on the status of a remaining video that was marked private rather than removed.
After a Final Fairness Hearing, the Aboltin Court grants final approval of the settlement agreement.
The Court in the Aboltin case grants TINA.org’s Motion for Leave to file a brief as amicus curiae in opposition to the proposed settlement agreement.

As part of its investigation into DSA-member companies, TINA.org notifies Jeunesse that it is still using false and unsubstantiated income claims.
A class-action lawsuit is filed against Jeunesse alleging that the company defrauds distributors by operating an illegal pyramid scheme. The case is called Aboltin v. Jeunesse.
Despite the company’s pledge to ramp up its compliance program, numerous deceptive health and income claims made about the Jeunesse business opportunity and product lines still exist on the Internet three weeks after TINA.org’s warning letter. Accordingly, TINA.org sends complaint letters to the Federal Trade Commission and Florida Attorney General urging them to investigate Jeunesse and bring prompt enforcement action.
