September 2015: A federal judge granted the named plaintiff’s motion for dismissal. His individual claims were dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled. while class members’ claims were dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal were not disclosed.

June 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against ConAgra Foods, Inc. for allegedly misleadingly labeling products — Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes, Hunt’s Crushed Tomatoes, Hunt’s Stewed Tomatoes, Hunt’s Whole Tomatoes, Hunt’s Tomato Paste, Hunt’s Tomato Puree and Hunt’s Tomato Sauce, and variations of each — as “100% Natural” when they actually contain artificial ingredients and preservatives. (Gabriele et al v. ConAgra Foods, Inc., Case No. 14-cv-05183, W. D. AR.).
