Honest Organic Peach Tea

In January 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Coca-Cola Company for allegedly misleadingly marketing its Honest Organic Peach Tea as being “Just a Tad Sweet” to imply that the products are lower in sugar and calories than they actually are. According to the plaintiffs, the nutrition facts reveal that the tea contains 60 calories and 16 grams of sugar, which the ingredients list reveals is the second most predominant ingredient in the tea. (Batchelor et al v. The Coca-Cola Company, Case No. 20-cv-594, S. D. NY.)
