In July 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Coca-Cola Company for allegedly deceptively marketing Gold Peak Tea products as having “No Preservatives” when, according to plaintiffs, they contain preservatives such as citric acid, phosphoric acid, and ascorbic acid.
