February 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against The Coca-Cola Company for allegedly misleadingly marketing that Gold Peak Slightly Sweet Teas are “sweetened with 50% less sugar than our sweet tea” to make consumers believe the teas are low in sugar when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list shows that sugar is the second most predominant ingredient and the drinks are actually high in sugar.
