Banana Boat Kids SPF 50 Sunscreens
In October 2016, seven false advertising class-action lawsuits regarding the marketing of Banana Boat Kids SPF 50 sunscreens were consolidated for pre-trial proceedings. The complaints allege that the marketing for the sunscreens falsely indicates they have an SPF of 50 when, according to the complaints, the SPF of the sunscreens is lower (specifically, six of the complaints allege that the SPF is o eight and one of the complaints alleges that the SPF is only 12.69).
