August 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Procter & Gamble for allegedly misleadingly using You know when you buy a big bag of chips, and you’re all psyched for a feast, and then it turns out there are like, three chips in the bag? That bag is slack filled.ed packaging for deodorants – including Gillette® Odor Shield Invisible Solid, Old Spice® High Endurance Invisible Solid, Old Spice® Champion, and Old Spice® Classic – to make consumers believe they are buying more than they actually are. For example, the container for the 2.6 ounce Gillette® Odor Shield Invisible Solid is 5.25 inches long when the deodorant stick is actually only 2.75 inches tall. (Parker et al v The Procter & Gamble Company and Procter & Gamble Productions, Inc., Case No. 15-cv-6172, S. D. NY.)
