April 2016: This action was dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.
September 2015: Another class-action lawsuit was filed against Kohl’s for allegedly misrepresenting the existence, nature, and amount of price discounts. According to the plaintiffs, the store offers specific dollar or percentage discounts from “regular” or “original” prices when, according to the complaint, these prices are fabricated or inflated and do not represent the actual regular prices of the merchandise. (Le et al v. Kohl’s Corporation and Kohl’s Department Stores, Inc., Case No. 15-cv-1171, E. D. WI.)
