August 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Unilever for allegedly falsely representing its Suave NATURALS products – including Suave Naturals juicy green apple shampoo, Suave Naturals wild cherry blossom conditioner, Suave Naturals everlasting sunshine body wash, Suave Naturals mango mandarin body lotion, and Suave KiDS Naturals Head to Toe Wash soothing lavender – as “natural” when they actually contain unnatural, synthetic ingredients. (Paulino et al v. Conopco, Inc. dba Unilever, Case No. 14-cv-05145, E. D. NY.).
