April 2016: The named plaintiff filed a Notice of Appeal regarding the dismissal of the lawsuit.

February 2015: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Starion Energy alleging that the company promises consumers who switch to Starion Energy as their energy supplier will pay competitive market-based rates and save on their electric bill when, in reality, the company routinely charges customers well above the market rate after the initial “teaser” rate expires and they lose money. (Orange et al v. Starion Energy PA, Inc. et al, Case No. 15-cv-00773, E. D. PA.).
