In March 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Kroger Co. for allegedly falsely marketing its Aloe Vera After Sun Gel as being made with aloe when, according to plaintiffs, the product does not contain any aloe vera. (Kocoglu et al v. The Kroger Co., Case No. 18-cv-2132, C.D. Cal.)
