Allegations: Misleadingly marketing products as “High in Fiber”
In February 2016, a false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against KIND, LLC. According to the complaint, the company misleadingly represents that scientific evidence shows that “eating two KIND bars a day helps prevent weight gain” when, in reality, such claims are not true and without adequate scientific evidence to support such claims. (Bailey et al v. KIND, LLC, Case No. 16-cv-168, C. D. CA.)
