GNC’s Gold Card Program

October 2017: This case was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.

February 2017: A class-action complaint was filed against GNC for allegedly offering customers a one-year membership to its Gold Card Program (a program that entitled customers to discounts on in-store purchases) when, according to the complaint, the store discontinued the program in December 2016 leaving some consumers who paid for a one-year membership unable to receive the benefits of the program for a one-year period. (The complaint was originally filed in a New Jersey court and transferred to one in Pennsylvania.) (Register v. GNC Holdings, Inc., Case No. 17-cv-1342, W.D. Penn.)
