March 2020: An amended complaint adding two named plaintiffs was filed and the original named plaintiff voluntarily dismissed his claims When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed.
March 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Volvo for allegedly misleadingly marketing that a feature in XC90 vehicles called Sensus is compatible with Android Auto (an app that allows users to control and display apps from their smartphone in the car) when, according to the complaint, the cars are not compatible with the app. (Middien et al v. Volvo Cars of North America, LLC et al, Case No. 18-cv-3760, D.N.J.)
