Vanilla Ice Creams from Tillamook County Creamery
In September 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Tillamook County Creamery Association for allegedly misleadingly representing that several products are vanilla ice cream when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredient list on the ice cream reveals that vanilla is not the sole characterizing flavor. According to the complaint, the ice creams contain both “Natural Flavor” and “Natural Vanilla Flavor.” (Clarke et al v. Tillamook County Creamery Association, Case No. 19-cv-8207, S. D. NY.)
