Ulta Beauty Products
In March 2018, another class-action lawsuit was filed against Ulta Beauty for allegedly misleading consumers by repackaging returned products to make them look new, unused, and unopened and then reselling them as if they are new. Plaintiffs also allege that the store provides consumers with coupons for free products that it claims are redeemable at all stores when, according to the complaint, many stores are unaware of the promotion and do not have the free products to give to consumers. (Ogurkiewicz et al v. Ulta Beauty Inc., Case No. 2018-CH-03006, Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois)
