In November 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Whitewave Services for allegedly misleadingly marketing that its Silk Almond Creamer is flavored with vanilla when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list does not include vanilla and shows that the product contains unspecified “natural flavor.” (Newton et al v. Whitewave Services, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-6743, E.D.N.Y.)
