In November 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Roland Food and Orbe for allegedly marketing Roland canned octopus as containing octopus when, according to the complaint, the product actually contains squid. (Fonseca et al v. Roland Food, LLC and Orbe, S.A., Case No. 18-cv-10259, S.D.N.Y.)
