Quarter Pounder® and Double Quarter Pounder® Hamburgers with Cheese
A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against McDonald’s regarding the marketing of its Quarter Pounder® and Double Quarter Pounder® hamburgers. The complaint, which was originally filed in May 2018 and amended in July 2018, alleges that the restaurant offers these hamburgers with and without cheese but only lists the options with cheese on the menu and, as a result, forces customers to pay for cheese. (Kissner et al v. McDonald’s Corp. et al, Case No. 18-cv-61026, S.D. Fla.)
