In September 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against McDonald’s for allegedly falsely advertising the price of its Sausage McMuffin on the “value menu” as $1 when, according to plaintiffs, McDonald’s actually charges $1.89 for the sandwich. (Dabir et al v. McDonald’s Corp., Case No. 19-cv-8006, C. D. CA.)
