An August 2012 class action lawsuit was filed against ConAgra Foods, maker of Parkay Spray butter substitute, claiming that the spray is falsely marketed as “fat-free” and “calorie-free,” when, in fact, it contains 832 calories and 93 grams of fat per 8-oz. bottle. (Trewhitt et al v. ConAgra Foods, Inc., Case No. 12-cv-00287).
