Sundown Kids Complete Multivitamin Gummies
Allegations: Falsely marketing multivitamins as “complete” when they are missing certain B vitamins
In June 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Rexall Sundown for allegedly falsely marketing Osteo Bi-Flex (a glucosamine supplement) as providing joint health benefits —such as “support[ing] joint comfort” and “help[ing] strengthen joints while helping to maintain joint cartilage essential for comfortable joint movement” – when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients do not support or benefit joint health. (Seegert et al v. Rexall Sundown, Inc., Case No. 17-cv-1243, S. D. CA.)
