November 2014: The parties in the lawsuit asked the court to suspend the judicial proceedings in the case because Schiff Nutrition reached a settlement agreement in another similar case (Lerma v. Schiff), and that settlement, if approved, would also settle the claims in this case.
December 2013: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Schiff Nutrition for allegedly advertising its Move Free® line of dietary supplements containing glucosamine and chondroitin as providing various joint health benefits – such as helping to protect cartilage and improving joint comfort and function – without the scientific evidence to support such claims.
