Marriott’s “Kobe Beef” Sliders
In October 2013, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Marriott International Inc. alleging that it falsely represents that “Kobe beef” sliders contain high-quality Japanese “Kobe beef” when they actually contain a cheaper, inferior quality beef.
