Amazon to Pay $2.5 Billion to Settle Trickery Charges Related to Prime
FTC lawsuit alleged company duped consumers into signing up and then made it hard to cancel.
A class-action lawsuit was filed against Vantage Travel Service for allegedly making deceptive representations about its “Majestic Rivers of Europe” tour (a European tour that travels through Austria, Germany, and Hungary). Among other things, the complaint alleges that travelers paid for a 15-day luxury cruise but instead received a five-day cruise and eight-day bus trip.
