Class Action

Loans from Quicken Loans

In May 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Quicken Loans for allegedly misleadingly representing that consumers who provide their personal information in a survey will receive an offer for a $100,000 loan when, according to plaintiffs, consumers who complete the survey do not receive the advertised loan offer but rather are bombarded with promotional text messages from telemarketers. The complaint also alleges that the Quicken Loan website does not adequately disclose to consumers that by clicking to see their survey results, they are consenting to receive telemarketing text messages.
