In September 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Sally Beauty Supply for allegedly misleadingly advertising a “Liter Sale,” suggesting that all the products included in the sale would be on one-liter hair products, when, according to plaintiffs, many of the products included in the sale were less than one liter.
