Lenovo Ultrabook
In October 2013, a class action complaint was filed against Lenovo Inc. for allegedly deceiving consumers in its marketing materials for the Lenovo IdeaPad U Series Ultrabook notebook computer. Among other things, plaintiffs claim that the company represents that the Ultrabook is capable of connecting to Wi-Fi networks when, in reality, a defect prevents it from making such a connection. (Wheeler et al v. Lenovo Inc., Case No. 13-0007150, Superior Court for the District of Columbia).
