December 2017: The Court granted KFC’s motion to dismiss the complaint finding that it failed to state a claim upon which relief could be granted.
2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) for allegedly underfilling its “fill-up” buckets of chicken with “way less chicken than was shown in the advertisements.” The lawsuit was originally filed in state court and transferred to federal court. (Wurtzburger et al v. Kentucky Fried Chicken, Case No. 16-cv-8186, S.D.N.Y.)
