May 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Kellogg for allegedly misleadingly marketing its cereals and bars – including Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Smart Start, and Nutri-Grain bars – as being healthy when, according to the complaint, they contain large amounts of added sugar, which increases the risk of various health issues.
