In August 2016, the parties in a false advertising class-action lawsuit filed against Joint Juice, Inc. (a company that sells and markets a line of joint health dietary supplements) notified the court that they renewed settlement discussions after the company’s motion for summary judgment was denied. The complaint, which was originally filed in 2013 and amended in 2014, claims that the company promises Joint Juice supplements support and nourish cartilage, lubricate joints, and improve joint comfort when the ingredients do not provide the represented joint health benefits.
