October 2020: The case was transferred from state court to federal court. (Case No. 20-cv-831, W.D. Mo.)
August 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Hy-Vee for allegedly falsely advertising that its Strawberries & Cream and Peaches & Cream Instant Oatmeals contain strawberries and peaches, respectively, when, according to plaintiffs, the oatmeals do not contain any of the represented fruits but rather actually contain apple disguised to look like the other fruits. (Fisher et al v. Hy-Vee, Inc., Case No. 2016-CV17304, Missouri State Court – Jackson)
