In January 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against HP for allegedly deceiving consumers by, among other things, representing that its “all-in-one” HP printers are compatible with non-HP ink cartridges when such claims are not true. (Mullins et al v. HP Inc. and Does 1-100, Case No. 17-cv-141, N. D. CA.)
