Fucoidan Products
In June 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Nature Medic for allegedly falsely marketing that Fucoidan products – including powders, capsules, and drinks – cause cancer cells to self-destruct, prevent cancer from spreading, and cured cancer for the consumers who appear in testimonials in advertising materials when, according to the complaint, the products are not effective at providing the promised results. (Skadowski et al v. Nature Medic, LLC et al, Case No. 19-cv-5213, C.D. Cal.)
