Ford’s Diesel Vehicles

In November 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Ford Motor Company for allegedly misleadingly advertising the durability, longevity, and fuel economy of its diesel vehicles when, according to plaintiffs, a pump in the vehicles is not compatible with American diesel fuel and leads to engine failure without warning. (Farlow et al v. Ford Motor Company, Case No. 18-cv-6967, N. D. CA.)
