In November 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Robert Bosch GMBH and several car manufacturers – including Ford and General Motors – for allegedly claiming that the Bosch CP4 fuel injection system is reliable, durable, powerful, and fuel efficient when, according to plaintiffs, a pump used in the system isn’t compatible with American diesel fuel, which results in engines failing without warning.
