December 2017: This case was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed. The plaintiff also agreed not to refile a similar complaint until the earlier of 90 days after the dismissal or the date the settlement in Jackson v. Lang Pharma Nutrition fails.

August 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Walmart for allegedly misleadingly marketing Equate High Absorption CoQ-10 as supporting heart health and having better absorption when, according to the complaint, the supplements do not provide the advertised benefits due to rupture and dissolution problems. Plaintiffs also claim that Walmart misleadingly compares Equate CoQ-10 to Qunol Ultra CoQ-10 when, according to the complaint, the supplements are not comparable. (Villasenor et al v.
