In February 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Kittrick Corp. for allegedly falsely marketing that EcoSmart Insect Repellent “keeps away mosquitoes” and “repels for hours” when, according to the complaint, scientific evidence shows that the product does not work as advertised. (Krumm et al v. Kittrick Corporation, Case No. 19-cv-182, E. D. MO.)
