2016: Multiple class-action lawsuits filed against DraftKings and FanDuel making numerous allegations, including insider trading, illegal gambling, and false advertising allegations, have been transferred to a Massachusetts court to be heard together. The false advertising allegations claim that DraftKings deceptively promises to match up to $600 of a new player’s initial deposit when, according to the complaint, DraftKings only matches the initial deposit if the player pays thousands of dollars in additional entry fees within a four-month period.
