July 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Unilever for allegedly misleadingly advertising that Dove Invisible Dryspray antiperspirants do not leave any white marks when, according to plaintiffs, the active ingredient in the antiperspirants (aluminum chlorohydrate) actually does cause white marks. (Been et al v. Conopco, Inc. d/b/a Unilever, Case No. 19-cv-2704, Missouri State Court – St. Louis)
